Selection

Moderators are selected based on independence, professional record, and absence of conflicts of interest with the candidates or office.

Lead moderators have full authority to enforce timing, civility, and topical focus during a debate.

Every moderator action that promotes, hides, or restores a question is recorded in the audit log.
