How a debate is produced
Four phases. Every one of them is documented, audited, and accountable.
- 1Phase 1
Scheduling
A civic organization or producer creates a debate inside the Control Room. Format, segments, duration, and rules are configured. Verified candidates and a neutral moderator are invited.
- 2Phase 2
Pre-event
Candidates accept invitations, complete a tech check, sign the participation rules acknowledgement, and submit position statements. Moderators finalize the agenda and segment timing.
- 3Phase 3
Live event
Candidates join from anywhere. The moderator controls the segment sequence, equal-time timers, and the audience question queue. Audience members watch, submit and upvote questions, and contribute to live scoring.
- 4Phase 4
Post-event
After admin review, audience scores are released. The full record — replay, transcript, AI summary, key takeaways, and clip markers — is published and locked.
